What does God want?

  • Your consecrationRomans 12:1
  • Your sanctification, Romans 12:2
  • Your separation from worldly lusts and pride1 John 2:15-17
  • Your attention to His Word
  • Your giving and service to His Church
  • Your conformity to His purpose and plan for your life
  • Your humility and obedience
  • Your work of faith, labour of love and perseverance of Hope
  • Your gratitude and thanksgiving
  • Your fruitfulness in advancing His Kingdom and righteousness
  • Your eternal salvation!

What is the difference between wisdom and foolishness, according to Matthew 7:21-27?

  • Wisdom is to build your life on the rock of doing God’s Word!
  • Foolishness is to build your life on the sand of doing it your own way 
  • Wisdom is to be a doer of the Word, and not an hearer only
  • Foolishness is to refuse to hear and/or do God’s Word
  • Wisdom is to be to fully engaged with the Church of Jesus
  • Foolishness is to take the Church of Jesus for granted
  • Wisdom is to be financially committed to the Church (the Body of Christ) in tithes and offerings (i.e. generous giving)
  • Foolishness is to withhold your tithes and offerings from the Church (the Body of Christ)
  • Wisdom is to honour the Word, the Church and the Man of God
  • Foolishness is take the Word, the Church and the Man of God for granted
  • Wisdom is to persevere is doing what is right as defined by God
  • Foolishness is to act smart, cut corners and compromise what is right as defined by God
  • Wisdom is to humble yourself and pay attention to God
  • Foolishness is exalt yourself and not pay attention to God
  • The house built on the rock (wisdom) will stand in spite of the storm
  • The house built on sand (foolishness) will fall under the storm
