HIMSELF TOOK IT

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” – Matthew 8:16-17

Jesus Christ took your place at the cross of Calvary. His body was broken for you, so that you can be healed. His blood was shed for you, so that you can be forgiven. He was wounded, bruised and scourged. Isaiah 52:14 makes us to understand that He was disfigured beyond human recognition. He physically felt in His body the agony of every sickness and disease ever known to man. And why did He do it? It was for the sake of your own peace and well-being. He took your weaknesses so you can become strong. He bore your diseases in order to carry them away. He became sickness so that you can be healed (Isaiah 53:5)

God is not the author of sickness and disease. Jesus came so that you can have Zoe (the divine overcoming life). If you are a true believer, you now have Zoe within you. How can you take advantage of what Jesus has done? You do this by releasing and exercising your faith. Your healing has been paid for; all you need do now is to claim what belongs to you by faith. Command Satan to take his hands off your body. Command sickness to leave your body in the Name of Jesus. Confess that you are healed because of Jesus. Proclaim that Himself took and bore it away! (John 10:10).

Confession: Satan has no right to put on me what God put on Jesus Christ. Himself took and bore it, in order to carry it away. Sin and sickness has passed from me to Calvary, and salvation and health have passed from Calvary to me.
