Ben Awoseyila is the founding pastor of Healing Springs Church, which was established in Basingstoke in October 2012 in obedience to God’s call for the end-time generation. He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour when he was 9 years old, and has consistently walked with God since then. He is passionate about the Word and Spirit, and has taken time to prove by a personal faith walk that the Word of God is true, alive and powerful.
Ben has always known that he has the calling of God upon his life since he got born-again at an early age and was baptised (filled) with the Holy Spirit. He is a man of vision and purpose who is highly motivated to lead and inspire others in the path of righteousness. He has been involved in mentoring believers ever since his school and university days in Nigeria. He is a firm believer in the divine transformation of lives and situations. He believes that people can become the best that God destined them to be in His ‘good, acceptable and perfect’ will.
Dr Ben came to the UK to study in the early 2000s. He lived in Guildford for some years, where he served as an assistant pastor of a Pentecostal Fellowship, before moving to Basingstoke in 2008. Since then, God has given him the vision of seeing thousands of lives in ‘Basingstoke and beyond’ transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. He holds a PhD degree in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey, Guildford, where he has also worked in research and teaching for several years.
Dr Ben is happily married to his beloved wife, who helps him in life and ministry. They are blessed with three sons who love the Lord. Ben is a man who loves God and has a big heart for people, irrespective of their backgrounds or circumstances. He is always ready to offer people a genuine smile and believes that nothing can resist the power of the ‘faith, hope and love’ that is made available in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ben is a prolific teacher of the Word who loves to explain divine truths with clarity and simplicity. He believes that the answer to every problem in life is found in the wisdom and power of God’s Word. He is passionate about helping people solve their problems, inspiring them to walk with God, and teaching them divine truths for victorious living.
Pastor Ben believes that we are living in the last generation and desires to see many sleeping believers ‘revived, refreshed and restored’ in their heavenly calling of leading others to righteousness. He is author of a book on ‘the purpose of life’, 4 devotionals on ‘walking with God’, a ‘new life in Christ’ discipleship guide and 2 outstanding books on ‘revelation and the end times’.
