Springs Newsletter 2017 (15)

God is ever faithful to His WordIn order to continuously experience God’s faithfulness, you have to lay hold on God’s Word concerning your life and never let go. What you believe about yourself matters a lot! Do you believe that you will live long? Do you believe that you will overcome your situation? Do you believe that you will grow spiritually and become strong, stable, productive and fruitful? What you truly believe is reflected in your words and actions. What have you been saying and doing? (Hebrews 11:6, Romans 10:10).

Your faith is the victory that overcomes all of life’s challenges (1 John 5:4). But how can you obtain and maintain this faith? Romans 10:17 makes us to understand that faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God. In order to live the victorious life, you have a personal (non-transferable) responsibility to expose yourself to God’s Word (words of faith) on a continuous basis. Study the Bible, read Christian books, listen to sermons, watch Christian videos and engage in genuine fellowship with true believers. Your consistency in spiritual communion is a major key to living free from bondage of any kind (1 John 1:7)

Do you know that Christ has redeemed you from the curse (Galatians 3:13-14)? Everything that ever went wrong is a consequence of the fall. When the first man (Adam) sinned, spiritual death came in to the world (Romans 6:23). Sin, sickness, poverty, oppression and depression are all messengers of death. However, the last Adam (Christ Jesus) is a life-giving Spirit who has come to give you the divine overcoming life (John 10:10). If you are in Christ, then you can be confident that salvation, healing and deliverance belong to you (1 Corinthians 15:45).

Don’t get discouraged by all the bad things going on around you. We are currently in the last days and what we see has long been predicted by the Bible (2 Timothy 3:1-8). Instead, you need to get busy with loving and serving God. Get busy with loving and serving people. Get busy with growing in grace and in the knowledge of God. Get busy with living by Faith, persevering in Hope and walking in Love. Get busy with laying up your treasures (time, skills, money, resources) into the Kingdom, where your reward can never be destroyed (Matthew 6:19-24). This is the way to make the most of your life!
