Title: *|FNAME|*, Receive Your Requests!

Dear *|FNAME|*,

Life can be challenging at times and you may feel lonely when confronted with uncertainty or difficulty. However, never forget that you are not alone. The Lord has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Your task is to keep looking up to Him in faith and obedience, and He will see you through and take you over (Deuteronomy 31:6).

*|FNAME|*, do you know that God does not answer every request? There are conditions that determine the effectiveness of prayer. The principles that govern whether you receive your requests or not are clearly revealed in your Bible: the written Word of God.

Firstly, you need to understand that although your needs move the heart of God, it is only your desires and faith that move God’s hands towards you. Your desires are more powerful than your needs. It is desire that helps you to reach out in faith for what you want; and without faith, it is impossible to please God! This is why the Bible instructs all true believers to live by faith (Romans 1:17, Hebrew 11:6).

Secondly, you need to understand that God is willing to grant your requests, so long they are provided for in His will. But how can you know God’s will? God’s Word is God’s will. The Bible shows us that God wants you to prosper in your spirit, soul and body. In the right order, physical prosperity should overflow from spiritual prosperity; the absence of one degrades the other. God is not interested in allowing anything in your life that will jeopardise the well-being of your soul (1 John 5:14-15, 3 John 2).

Thirdly, you need to remain in genuine fellowship with God and true believers. You need to be committed to loving and serving God, and to live a life of obedience to the Word. Jesus said; “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you”. Of course, your desires have to be godly: what will bring glory to the Father (John 15:7-8).

Fourthly, you need to apply your faith in believing that you have received your request from the very moment you prayed. Because God is a Spirit, the answer to every request first comes to you in the spirit. Once you have taken hold of it by faith in the spirit (epilambano), you need to keep your faith working until they are delivered to you in the physical (John 4:24, 1 Timothy 6:12).

The waiting time for your delivery is a function of the level of faith you exercise, the nature of the goods you requested, and the level of opposition you’re facing. Nonetheless, the continuous exercise of your faith is the only factor that can shorten your waiting time and guarantee that your delivery is not cancelled. Faith is your receipt! (Hebrews 11:1).

*|FNAME|*, faith without corresponding actions is dead! You guarantee your delivery by speaking words of faith and doing deeds of obedience. You keep thanking God that He has heard you and that your request is granted. You keep confessing God’s Word regarding the situation. You keep speaking to your mountain to move. You keep testifying to those who ask you that you believe that you have received your miracle. You keep walking in obedience to the Word and Spirit. If you persevere in doing these, it will only be a matter of time before your faith is fully rewarded by God (James 2:26, Mark 11:22-24, Hebrews 11:6)
